WHY CHOOSE US

STOP your feed going to waste and save money!

Times are tough right now. It's important to make sure you are getting the most out of your feed and getting the most out of your time.
A Wilco hay/meal feeder can help cut your feed costs and increase efficiency on the farm. The initial investment is well worth it and it doesn't take long to pay itself back in feed savings. For example, if you are paying a $10 bale, this could end up being $20 a bale if your livestock only eat half of it and the rest gets trampled through the mud.

Products that last a lifetime on the farm.
We use highly robust frames, made in New Zealand and fully galvanised, to ensure the best quality and performance. We are well-known for the quality and longevity of our products and 100% stand by everything we manufacture.

What our customers have to say:

THE WILCO STORY - DESIGNED BY FARMERS, FOR FARMERS

As calf rearers themselves, Gary and Glennis Wilson saw a need for a quality product, practical and robust enough to stand up to daily rigours in all conditions.

Wilco was formed by Managing Director Gary Wilson and his wife Glennis in 2003 and is located on the edge of the Rangitaiki Plains in the Whakatane District. Work was  initially centred around maintenance at the local pulp and paper mills where Gary had been involved in for 20 years, as well as general engineering work for the local farming community.

At this time, the range of Wilco farming products was designed and developed. Gary and Glennis realised a need, as calf rearers themselves, to manufacture a quality product, practical, efficient and robust enough to stand up to daily rigours in all conditions.

In 2006, Gary and Glennis purchased Surtees Trailers Ltd and set up an adjoining workshop to manufacture trailers for the neighbouring Surtees Boats. The range was soon expanded to include custom road trailers.

Farm-related products continue to be expanded under the Wilco brand name and the popularity and quality of the products speak for themselves.

"We combine our good ideas with yours because you know what works for you" is the philosophy behind our products.
